Defense minister visited number of military units in Artsakh
Defense Minister of Armenia Davit Tonoyan visited Artsakh Republic on May 1-2 as part of the military cooperation plan between the two Armenian states.
As Artsakh Defense Army reported in a statement, accompanied by his Artsakh counterpart Jalal Harutyunyan, Minster Tonoyan visited number of military units located in northern and central directions of the borderline. The minister held meetings with commanders of the units, conscripts and contract servicemen.
Issues related to the readiness of the troops, improvement of their social and living conditions, combat, moral and psychological readiness, modernization and the efficient application of military equipment were discussed.
According to the release, Minister Tonoyan praised the current level of the military cooperation between Armenia and Artsakh and pointed to the quality work of the ongoing activities implemented in the defense ministry.
The parties have also defined the priority directions of upcoming works that would be at the basis of the agenda of the bilateral military cooperation.
