
Georgia reports 16 new cases of coronavirus, 23 recover, 2 die
Georgia reported 16 new cases of coronavirus increasing the total number of cases to 582 today, agenda.ge reported. A total of 207 people have recovered since February 26 when the country confirmed the first case of the COVID-19.
However, yet another coronavirus-related mortality has increased the number of deaths to seven, the source said.
As of now, some 366 patients infected with COVID-19 remain in hospitals for further treatment.
The Clinical Director at the First Clinic of Tbilisi State Medical University, Lali Turdzeladze, said that the 83-year-old man who died yesterday had underlying chronic diseases.
