Arsenal to offload six players, including Mkhitaryan, in summer overhaul – reports
Arsenal are reportedly looking to part ways with as many as six players during the summer transfer window. As local sources report, gunners boss Mikel Arteta is supposedly hoping to reshuffle his squad ahead of the 2020-21 campaign, although financial implications arising from the coronavirus pandemic may mean that the Spaniard will have to reassess his transfer strategy.
Arsenal are said to be in the market for a new holding midfielder, with Atletico Madrid's Thomas Partey touted as a potential arrival, but the Gunners will supposedly have to sell a number of players to acquire the necessary funds.
According to Bleacher Report, the north London outfit are willing to offload up to six players this summer, but no names have been mentioned as of yet.
Defensive duo Shkodran Mustafi and Sokratis are said to be facing uncertain futures at the Emirates, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's contract situation is another concern for the Arsenal hierarchy.
The Gunners are also reportedly open to selling Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who has spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Roma.
