Coronavirus update: Patients with no symptoms will be transferred to Tsakhkadzor hotels
Some 90 coronavirus patients are treated at Gyumri Infectious Hospital as of May 4, 84 out of them are from Shirak province, the Governor’s office reported in a release.
“An increase of coronavirus infections is expected due to easing lockdown measures in the country. At the instruction of the ministry of health, patients who tested positive for the virus with no symptoms will be transferred to Tsakhkadzor hotels. 24 patients will be transported to special hotels in the resort city from Gyumri Infectious hospital today,” the release said.
According to the Governor’s office, thus far 19 patients have been transferred to Yerevan, while 21 patients have recovered and discharged from hospital. Around 338 people have been advised to self-isolate in the province.
