ECHR President-elect intends to maintain the excellent relations between ECHR and the Constitutional Court of Armenia
The President of the Constitutional Court of Armenia (CC) Hrayr Tovmasyan has sent a congratulatory message to Robert Spano, who has been elected President of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).
As the Court Facebook page reported, Robert Spano, in response, has sent a letter, expressing gratitude for warm words and congratulations.
“In these exceptional and challenging times it is all the more important to foster the cooperation between our two courts for the sake of ever-higher standard of judicial protection of human rights. Rest assured that I intend to maintain the excellent relations between the European Court of Human Rights and the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia,” the letter by Robert Spano said in part.
