Armenian agricultural products exported via cargo planes
The agricultural products of Armenia are exported via cargo planes, after freight transportation were severely disrupted due to the global coronavirus pandemic. The government reported that on April 24, some 23 tons of goods were exported via a plane rented by an exporting company.
Among the products exported were snowberry, greens, flowers and asparagus. The second flight carried 800 kg asparagus. The farmers pay some 500 drams for one kilogram of the agricultural goods. Details are presented in a video released by the government.
