Criminal case opened over Azerbaijani attack on Armenian border village
The Azerbaijani forces targeted Armenian Berkaber village of Tavush province on May 13. In the result of the shots the bedroom window and partition of one of the houses of the village were damaged, the Investigative Committee reported, adding inspection of the scene was conducted during which a ball of 12.7mm caliber was found.
According to the source, a criminal case was initiated in Tavush Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee according to the Points 1, 6 and 13 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104 (murder attempt against two or more people in a way dangerous for the life of many people, out of motives of national, race or religious hate or fanatism) of RA Criminal Code.
Preliminary investigation is conducted.
