The number of tourists visiting Armenia dropped by 14.4% in January-March
311,264 thousand tourists arrived in Armenia in the period from January to March in 2020, the Statistical Service of Armenia (NSS) reported, adding the number has decreased by 14.4% to compare with the number in the indicated the previous year.
To note, in the period from January to March in 2019, the total number of tourists who visited the country was 364, 489.
According to the newly released data, 275, 716 people left Armenia for tourism purposes which is 13.3% decrees against the number recorded in the same period of the previous year.
