Armenia records biggest rise in number of coronavirus cases since March
Armenian recorded on Saturday the biggest single-day jump of 239 COVID-19 cases, taking the total number to 4,283, according to data released by the Ministry of Health. This is the largest rise in cases since March, when the infection was first detected in the country.
With 3 more deaths, the death toll has gone up to 4,283. The country currently has 2,415 active COVID-19 cases, and 1,791 patients have recovered.
The latest victims were 46-year-old female, 60-year-old and 82-year-old males patients who had no underlying chronic health condition, the ministry said.
The total number of fatalities stood at 55. As many as 39,005 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
