Today marks 28th anniversary of the liberation of Berdzor town
28 years ago on this day Berdzor town of Artsakh was liberated. The blockade of the town was broken and Artsakh joined the Republic of Armenia through land.
“The liberation was a turning point in the future victories and its significance is hard to overestimate in the state building and future successes,” Davit Babayan, the leader of Artsakh Conservative Party wrote on his Facebook page.
Congratulating all on the remarkable date, Babayan said the further development of Qashatagh region and making Berdzor prosperous remains an issue of pan-Armenian relevance which will secure the sustainability of Armenian statehood.
