Court hearing in case of Robert Kocharyan and others adjourned
A court hearing in the case of Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan and three other former top officials had to be adjourned on Tuesday due to the absence of the ex-president.
Presiding judge Anna Danibekyan said Izmirlian Medical Center had notified the court that Kocharyan was receiving inpatient treatment and could not attend the hearing.
“Taking into account the fact that a court hearing cannot be held in the absence of the defendant, today's hearing is adjourned," the judge said.
The hearing has been rescheduled for May 26.
