Coronavirus: Armenia reports 230 new cases, 255 recoveries on May 20
Armenia has confirmed 230 new coronavirus infections, bringing the total number of cases to 5,271 in the country as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, the Ministry of Health reports.
255 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 2,419.
The number of COVID-19 fatalities has grown by three to 67.
The latest victims were 78 (male), 65 (female) and 68 (male) years old and had underlying chronic health conditions, the ministry said.
In addition, two cases of death were recorded on Tuesday when the patients had tested positive for COVID-19, but the cause of death was another disease. The total of such cases is 27.
2,758 patients with COVID-19 are currently undergoing treatment.
As many as 44,071 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
