Artsakh army soldier arrested in death of fellow serviceman
A junior sergeant of the Artsakh Defense Army has been arrested in the death of his fellow serviceman as part of a criminal case launched by the Investigative Committee.
As reported earlier, soldier Henrik Aramyan, 20, suffered fatal gunshot wounds in the military post of an eastern military unit on Tuesday, at around 8:32pm.
The arrested soldier, whose identity is not disclosed, is suspected of committing a murder out of hooliganism under Part 2.10 of Article 104 of Armenia’s Criminal Code, the Investigative Committee said in a statement.
A preliminary probe is underway.
