Coronavirus: Armenia reports 374 new cases on May 23
Armenia has confirmed 374 new coronavirus infections, bringing the total number of cases to 6,302 in the country as of 11 a.m. Saturday, May 23, the Ministry of Health reports.
62 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 2,936.The number of active cases is 3,257.
As many as 49,080 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
The number of COVID-19 fatalities has increased by 3 to 77.
The latest victims were 74 (male), 81 (male), 86 (female), 54 (female) years old and had underlying chronic health conditions, the ministry said.
In addition, four cases of death were recorded on Friday when the patients had tested positive for COVID-19, but the cause of death was another disease. The total of such cases is 28.
