Court hearing in case of Kocharyan and others postponed as a lawyer tests positive for Covid-19
The court hearing in the case of Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan and three other former officials will be postponed, Pastinfo news agency reported. According to the source, Inessa Petrosyan, one of the lawyers of former defense minister Seyran Ohanyan has tested positive for Covid-19.
The lawyer’s husband, Karen Mezhlumyan, who also defends the interests of Ohanyan in the case has submitted the respective request to the court.
It is noted that given the fact, that Seyran Ohanyan has two lawyers, who are spouses, and they would not be able to attend the court hearing due to coronavirus, requested the court to postpone the hearing.
To note, former President Robert Kocharyan underwent surgery days ago and is currently under post-surgery care.
