Armenia’s Lori Province reports first coronavirus death
Lori Province of Armenia has reported its first fatality from the coronavirus infection.
The victim had been transferred to Yerevan and had underlying health conditions, including cancer, Lori Governor Andrey Ghukasyan said on Facebook.
As of Thursday, 72 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the province. 54 patients have recovered from the disease, he said.
According to the fresh figures, 8,216 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Armenia with 3,287 recoveries and 113 deaths. Another 44 patients with coronavirus died from other diseases.
