8923 beneficiaries received a total of 1.7 billion drams within the government 18th anti-crisis measure
Within the 18th measure aimed at easing the economic impacts of the coronavirus, 12 227 taxpayers have been considered as the program’s beneficiaries as a result of evaluation of monthly calculations of income tax and social payment for April 2020:
As the State Revenue Committee reported, 8,923 beneficiaries or about 73% of the taxpayers have applied for the assistance as of June 1, 2020. The committee has already issued the respective payment orders (for a total of about 1.7 bn drams) and the assistance amounts have been transferred to the taxpayers’ bank accounts.
The SRC reminds that June 10, 2020 is the end date for submitting applications (including corrected ones) via SRC’s File Online System within the 18th measure aimed at easing the economic impact of coronavirus.
Taking into account the above, we call on taxpayers who have been notified via SRC’s File Online (regarding being considered a beneficiary of the 18th measure) and wish to benefit from the assistance, to make an application for a lump-sum grant within the specified time period.
To remind, the measure implies financial assistance to employers, companies, where jobs and wage fund have been mainly preserved since the crisis began,. The government will pay a salary bonus for every fifth employee. The 18th concerns companies with up to 100 employees.
