Armenia’s coronavirus tally passes 10,000 on June 2
Armenia has confirmed 517 new coronavirus infections, bringing the national tally to 10,009 as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, the Ministry of Health reports.
25 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 3,427
The COVID-19 fatalities have grown by 19 to 158. The latest victims were 81 (female), 80 (male), 53 (male), 64 (male), 80 (male), 82 (male), 50 (female), 75 (male), 58 (male), 74 (female), 69 (male), 57 (male), 79 (male), 86 (female), 63 (male), 69 (male), 60 (female), 75 (male) and 61 (female) years old. All had underlying chronic health conditions, the ministry said.
In addition, one case of death was recorded on Monday when the patient had tested positive for coronavirus, but the cause of death was another disease. The total of such cases is 56.
The number of active cases is 6,368.
As many as 59,917 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
