Police announces tightened coronavirus measures
The Police of Armenia, inspection bodies and other state structures involved in combating the spread of Covid-19 continue extraordinary service in the republic. As the Police reported, check points are placed on roads, daily checks are conducted in all administrative districts of capital Yerevan, the citizens are checked for the availability of face masks in the streets, the activity of economic entities and people advised to self isolate are monitored.
It is noted that starting from Tuesday, the law enforcement will be tougher with those who neglect the prescribed safety rules and impose administrative sanctions against the offenders.
The statement calls on citizens to follow the safety rules, including wearing face masks and keep social distancing to prevent the spread of the virus.
