Worldwide coronavirus cases reach 6.4 million as deaths near 381,000
More than 6.4 million people worldwide have been infected with the new coronavirus as of June 3, according to Johns Hopkins University tally.
The global death toll attributed to the novel coronavirus reached 380,764 early Tuesday, In the four months since the virus was first identified in Wuhan, Fox news reported.
Meanwhile, 16 nations now have total infection counts higher than China’s 84,159. The five nations with the highest number of infections recorded to date are US, Brazil, Russia, UK and Spain.
