Expert: Artsakh frontline developments depend on coronavirus handling
In order to clearly assess the possibility of a renewed war over Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic, it is necessary to understand the real situation created in Azerbaijan, political scientist Tigran Abrahamyan, a former security advisor of the Artskah president, told an interview on the Fifth Channel.
“Every effort must be made not only to prevent the spread of the infection quickly, but also to get back into the normal rhythm as soon as possible, as Azerbaijan’s possible activeness depends on this situation,” said Abrahamyan, who heads Henaket analytical center.
“In other words, the regional stability also depends on which side overcomes the situation sooner and wins in terms of the economy, politics and military. This is what the frontline developments depend on,” he stressed.
