Armenian ombudsman urges unity in fight against coronavirus
Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) of Armenia Arman Tatoyan calls on people to jointly fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
"Dear compatriots,
We all need to be united in order to overcome the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic as soon as possible.
Let's work together and take responsibility by observing the anti-virus rules for the sake of our children, our parents, our sisters and brothers, so that we can return to normal life quickly.
The real assessment of the work of our specialists from various fields, who are fighting day and night against coronavirus, is not to share images and videos about them on social media, but to change our behavior and take real responsibility for each other.
I am sure that the sooner we come together, the sooner we will overcome this challenge.
Throughout history, we have repeatedly been able to show unity and overcome seemingly insurmountable situations together.
During the calendar year, we have many memorable days that we are proud to talk about for the incredible victories we have achieved. Adding another one to this list of memorable days is up to each of us today as a demonstration of unity and solidarity.
Let's follow the rules to curb the virus, let's take care of each other and save lives!” he said in a message.
