Armenia’s Armavir Province reports 12 coronavirus deaths
Armavir Province of Armenia has confirmed 717 cases of Covid-19 so far. 287 patients have already recovered from the disease, while 835 people are self-isolated, Armavir Governor Hambardzum Matevosyan said on Facebook.
A total of 12 fatalities from the coronavirus infection have been reported in the province, the governor said.
“Dear all, irrespective of the fact that the Armenian government has allowed some businesses to fully operate, I urge and ask all of you to take this moment seriously and continue to follow the rules of personal hygiene and preventive measures, taking high social responsibility," said the governor, addressing Armavir residents.
Armenia’s confirmed coronavirus cases surged past 11,000 on Thursday, with 3,468 recoveries and 176 deaths reported in the country.
