PM: Armenia’s coronavirus crisis getting worse
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan broke bad news to the public in a Facebook live on Thursday morning.
“The epidemiological situation in Armenia is getting worse. 697 new cases were recorded yesterday,” he said.
According to the premier, Armenia has ended up in a situation when those patients in need of hospitalization cannot be taken to hospital in time.
“With the number of patients having reached 10,000, 2,500 people already need intensive medical care. It's gotten to the point where our healthcare system is flexing,” he said.
