Face masks can be obtained from self-service machines in public places
Yerevan residents can now obtain face masks from self-service machines placed in different public places to protect themselves from the spread of Covid-19. As the country’s State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition reports, the initiative came into life through the joint effort of Tavush textiles and Arvending LTD. According to the source, the machines are placed in seven stations of Yerevan metro and will be placed in more than 50 locations throughout the capital in the near future.
The machines vend two-pack protective face masks costing 200 drams.
“Our request to all companies serving customers flow - trade centres and banks - is to place such machines to ensure affordable face masks for all people,” the Secretary General of the Commission Davit Hovhannisyan has said, adding they are in talks with number of companies for the further expansion of the initiative
