Armenia's coronavirus tally climbs to 11,817 on June 5
Armenia has confirmed 596 new coronavirus infections, bringing the national tally to 11,817 as of 11 a.m. Friday, June 5, the Ministry of Health reports.
45 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 3,513.
The COVID-19 deaths have grown by 7 to 183. The latest victims were 72 (male), 69 (female), 78 (male), 59 (female), 72 (male), 33 (female) and 61 (female) years old. All had underlying chronic health conditions, the ministry said.
In addition, one case of death was recorded on Thursday, when the patient had tested positive for coronavirus, but the cause of death was another disease. The total of such cases is 69.
The number of active cases is 8,052.
As many as 65,161 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
