Defense minister introduced the newly appointed Chief of the General Staff to top officers of the Armed Forces
Armenian Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan introduced on Wednesday the newly appointed Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Onik Gasparyan to the top military leadership of the country.
As the press department at the defense ministry reported, the minister highlighted the biography and military experience of General Gasparyan in all commanding positions, expressed assurances that his professional knowledge and experience enable Onik Gasparyan to spare no effort in contributing to the implementation of the tasks ahead of the Armed Forces.
Thanking for the confidence, Lieutenant General Onik Gasparyan noted that the idea of teamwork will be put at the basis of the structure he will head and will lead to more desirable results.
The meeting also discussed issues related to anti-epidemic preventive measures conducted in the Armed Forces
