68 coronavirus patients being treated at Gyumri infectious disease hospital
A total of 68 coronavirus patients are undergoing treatment at the Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital in Armenia’s Shirak Province. 59 out of the total number are Shirak residents.
225 patients have recovered and discharged from hospitals to date, the Shirak Regional Administration reports.
Some 1,103 Shirak residents are self-isolated as of June 19, with the virus confirmed in 216 of them. The latter are showing no symptoms.
33 Covid-19 patients have been transferred to Yerevan, the local authorities said.
15 deaths from the infection have been reported in the province so far.
Since March 1, 3,398 coronavirus tests have been performed at Shirak hospitals and the regional branch of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the source said.
