Wind intensification expected in number of regions in Armenia
Short rain with thunderstorm is predicted in the territory of Armenia on June 20, in the afternoon and on the night of 21-22 in most regions, on 23-24 mainly in northern regions. During the thunderstorm wind speed may reach up to 15-20 m/s, Hydromet meteorological service reported on Saturday. In separate places hail is also possible. South-west wind speed is 3-8 m/s.
The air temperature will not change considerably.
In capital Yerevan, in the daytime of June 20, in the evening and on the night of 21-22 in separate parts of the city short rain with thunderstorm is predicted, during the thunderstorm wind speed may reach up to 17-20 m/s. On June 23-25 no precipitation is predicted.
