Armenia's coronavirus cases top 22,000 on June 25
Armenia has confirmed 771 new coronavirus infections in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 22,488 as of 11 a.m. Thursday, June 25, the Ministry of Health reports.
538 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 11,335.
The COVID-19 deaths have grown by 11 to 397.
The latest victims were 69 (male), 60 (male), 61 (male), 90 (female), 46 (female), 44 (female), 61 (male), 71 (female), 74 (female), 67 (male) and 66 (male) years old. All had underlying chronic health conditions, the ministry said.
In addition, 1 case of death was recorded in the past day when the patient tested positive for COVID-19, but the cause of death was another disease. The total of such cases is 131.
The number of active cases is 10,625.
As many as 102,736 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
