92 coronavirus patients receiving care at Gyumri hospital
A total of 92 coronavirus patients are undergoing treatment at the Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital in Armenia’s Shirak Province as of Saturday. 83 out of the total number are Shirak residents.
249 patients have recovered and discharged from hospitals to date, the Shirak Regional Administration reports.
Some 969 Shirak residents have been told to self-isolate. 214 of them have tested positive for Covid-19 but are showing no symptoms.
33 coronavirus patients have been transferred to Yerevan, the local authorities said.
18 deaths from the infection have been reported in the province so far.
Since 1 March 4,114 coronavirus tests have been performed at Shirak hospitals and the regional branch of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the source said.
