Armenia’s coronavirus cases reach 28,936 on July 6
Armenia has confirmed 330 new coronavirus infections in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 28,936 as of 11 a.m. Monday, July 6, the Ministry of Health reports.
162 more patients have recovered from COVID-19 with the total number of recoveries now standing at 16,302.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by 7 to 491.
The latest victims were 72 (female), 64 (male), 71 (male), 72 (male), 87 (male), 78 (male) and 79 (male) years old. All had underlying chronic health conditions.
In addition, according to the ministry, one case of death was recorded in the past 24 hours when the patient tested positive for COVID-19, but the cause of death was another disease. The total of such cases is 159.
The number of active cases is 11,984.
As many as 123,815 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
