Armenia’s coronavirus cases climb to 33,559 on July 16
Armenia has confirmed 554 new coronavirus infections in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 33,559 as of 11 a.m. Thursday, July 16, the Ministry of Health reports.
583 more patients have recovered from COVID-19 with the total number of recoveries now standing at 21,931.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by 15 to 607.
The latest victims were 74 (female), 72 (female), 70 (female), 81 (female), 84 (male), 86 (male), 74 (male), 60 (female), 88 (female), 83 (male), 88 (male), 87 (male), 78 (male), 65 (female) and 63 (female) years old. Except for the last one, all had underlying chronic health conditions.
The number of active cases is 10,832.
As many as 141,410 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
