MP: Armenia’s Yazidi community denounces Azerbaijani provocations
The recent military provocative actions of Azerbaijan have received an adequate retaliation from the Armenian side. The Yazidi community of Armenia condemns the Azerbaijani provocations on the border with Armenia, Yazidi MP from the ruling My Step faction Rustam Bakoyan said at a National Assembly session on Thursday.
The lawmaker stressed that many Yazidis living in Armenia stand ready to protect the common border.
He called on Yazidis around the world to actively cooperate with the Armenian Diaspora in Europe, the U.S. and elsewhere to give a clear diplomatic response to Azerbaijan’s provocations.
Parliament Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan said, in turn, that it is not the first time that the Yazidi people have expressed unconditional support to Armenians.
