Armenia-EU agreement to enter into force after ratification in three countries
The Congress of Deputies of Spain, the lower house of the country’s legislative branch has ratified the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA). The document will be debated for ratification at the Senate, MP from the ruling My Step fraction Arman Yeghoyan wrote on Facebook.
In Yeghoyan’s words, Italy is another country which needs to complete the domestic procedures for the ratification as the document had been ratified at the Senate last year. CEPA is yet to be ratified by Portugal and is subject for consideration at the plenary sitting of the country’s parliament soon.
“After the completion of the ratification process in these three countries, the agreement shall enter into force,” Yeghoyan wrote.
