Armenia refutes Azerbaijani reports on downing Armenian drone
Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense has spread false information alleging the Azerbaijani forces shot down an X-55 UAV belonging to the Armenian army on Thursday, Armenian Defense Ministry spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan said on Facebook.
“No UAV that belongs to the Armenian Armed Forces has been destroyed, and the image attached to the release does not correspond to reality,” she wrote.
Earlier on Wednesday, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, a representative of the Defense Ministry, said the Armenian air defense forces have downed 13 Azerbaijani drones, including 10 combat and 3 reconnaissance, starting from 12 July.
