Confirmed coronavirus cases in Armenia reach 37,390 on July 27
Armenia has confirmed 73 new coronavirus infections in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 37,390 as of 11 a.m. Monday, July 27, the Ministry of Health reports.
187 more patients have recovered from COVID-19 with the total number of recoveries now standing at 26,665.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by 6 to 711.
The latest victims were 63 (male), 81 (female), 54 (male), 68 (female), 80 (female) and 56 (male) years old. All had underlying chronic health conditions.
In addition, according to the ministry, one case of death was recorded in the past 24 hours when the patient tested positive for COVID-19, but the cause of death was another disease. The total of such cases is 221.
The number of active cases is 9,793.
As many as 157,466 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
