The Chief of the General Staff received US Ambassador to Armenia
The Chief of the General Staff of Armenian Armed Forces Onik Gasparyan received on July 25 U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy and the Defense Attaché in Armenia Colonel Scott Maxwell.
As the press department at the ministry reported, issues of the Armenian-US bilateral cooperation in the defense sector were discussed during the meeting. The parties also touched upon the recent escalation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the ongoing state of affairs.
The interlocutors discussed the main directions of future cooperation and outlined issues of in the fields of mutual interest, the source said.
