
Armenia reports 17 ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan overnight
The situation remained relatively calm on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border overnight July 27-28, as well as in the morning of July 28, Defense Ministry spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan said on Facebook.
The Azerbaijani forces violated the ceasefire 17 times from different firearms, firing around 220 shots at the Armenian military positions.
In particular, the outposts located near the villages of Chinari, Tsghuni, Zangakatun and Chiva came under Azerbaijani gunfire overnight, the spokesperson said.
