Armenia reports 308 fresh coronavirus cases on July 29
Armenia has confirmed 308 new coronavirus infections in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 37,937 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, the Ministry of Health reports.
467 more patients have recovered from COVID-19 with the total number of recoveries now standing at 27,824.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by 4 to 723.
The latest victims were 83 (female), 64 (female), 84 (male) and 68 (female) years old. All had underlying chronic health conditions.
In addition, according to the ministry, 2 cases of death were recorded in the past 24 hours when the patients tested positive for COVID-19, but the cause of death was another disease. The total of such cases is 225.
The number of active cases is 9,165.
As many as 160,380 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
