Armenia reports 288 fresh coronavirus cases on August 5
Armenia has confirmed 288 new coronavirus infections in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 39,586 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, the Ministry of Health reports.
478 more patients have recovered from COVID-19 with the total number of recoveries now standing at 30,850.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by 2 to 770.
The latest victims were 64 (male) and 63 (female) years old. All had underlying chronic health conditions.
The number of active cases is 7,738.
As many as 170,012 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
