Yerevan infectious disease hospital head steps down
Mher Davidyants has resigned as Director of the Nork Infection Clinical Hospital in Yerevan.
At a special meeting with the hospital staff on Friday, Davidyants said he had submitted a letter of resignation to Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan earlier in the day, the hospital said in a statement.
In his speech, the doctor thanked the whole staff of the infectious disease hospital for the joint work of two years, especially for the tremendous efforts made by them during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The whole staff of the hospital expressed their gratitude to Davidyants for his invaluable work, the statement added.
