Armenia reports 276 new COVID-19 cases on August 14
Armenia has confirmed 276 new coronavirus infections in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 41,299 as of 11 a.m. Friday, August 14, the Ministry of Health reports.
267 more patients have beaten COVID-19 with the total number of recoveries now standing at 34,164.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by 5 to 814.
The latest victims were 83 (male), 69 (female), 82 (male), 78 (male) and 70 (female) years old. All had underlying chronic health conditions.
In addition, according to the ministry, one case of death was recorded in the past 24 hours when the patient tested positive for COVID-19, but the cause of death was another disease. The total of such cases is 239.
The number of active cases is 6,082.
As many as 181,962 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
