
Coronavirus updates: 111 new cases, eight deaths recorded in Armenia on August 25
Armenia has confirmed 111 new coronavirus infections in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 42,936 as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 25, the Ministry of Health reports.
426 more patients have beaten COVID-19 with the total number of recoveries now standing at 36,475. The coronavirus death toll has increased by 8 to 1,118 - 260 of whom diagnosed positive for coronavirus but the cause of the death was another disease. The latest victims were 61 (female), 65 (male), 67 (female) and 70 (male), years-old and had underlying chronic health conditions.
As many as 196,873 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
