A residential building partially collapsed in Yerevan after a gas explosion
A four-story building in Yerevan collapsed on Wednesday morning in a suspected gas explosion, injuring several people and leaving dozens trapped inside, the ministry of emergency situations reported,
The building is located on Raynis street in Zeytun administrative district of the capital city. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Minister of Emergency Situations Feliks Tsolakyan arrived at the scene.
As of 11.00, 19 people have been pulled out of the rubble. 21 residents have been evacuated. Rescue efforts are underway with emergency service employees and several units of equipment involved in the operations. Three people have ben hospitalized.
