
Coronavirus updates: 203 new cases, four deaths recorded in Armenia on August 27
Armenia has confirmed 203 new coronavirus infections in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 43,270 as of 11 a.m. Thursday, August 27, the Ministry of Health reports.
262 more patients have beaten COVID-19 with the total number of recoveries now standing at 36,988. The coronavirus death toll has increased by 4 to 1,129 - 265 of whom diagnosed positive for coronavirus but the cause of the death was another disease.
The latest victims were 75 (female), 98 (female), 80 (female) years-old and all had underlying chronic health conditions. The number of active cases is 5,153.
As many as 200,507 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
