
Coronavirus updates: 31 new cases, three deaths recorded in Armenia on August 31
Armenia has confirmed 31 new coronavirus infections in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 43,781 as of 11 a.m. Monday, August 31, the Ministry of Health reports.
72 more patients have beaten COVID-19 with the total number of recoveries now standing at 37,722. The coronavirus death toll has increased by three to 1,147 - 879 of whom diagnosed positive for coronavirus but the cause of the death was another disease.
The latest victims were 85 (male) and 84 (female) years-old and both had underlying chronic health conditions. The number of active cases is 4,912.
As many as 205,940 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
