
Armenia reports 197 new Covid-19 cases, four more deaths on September 2
Armenia has confirmed 197 new coronavirus infections in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 44,075 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, the Ministry of Health reports.
275 more patients have beaten COVID-19 with the total number of recoveries now standing at 38,631. The coronavirus death toll has increased by three to 1,153 - 884 of whom diagnosed positive for coronavirus but the cause of the death was another disease.
The latest victims were 69 (male), 63 (male) and 72 (female) years-old and both had underlying chronic health conditions. The number of active cases is 4,291.
As many as 209,389 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
