PM Pashinyan, FM Mnatsakanyan express condolences over the passing of Dana Mazalova
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has expressed condolences over the death of well-known Czech journalist Dana Mazalova.
"I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of well-known Czech lawyer and journalist .Dana Mazalova. She had been involved in pro-Armenian activities since 1988 earthquake, and her rich documentary legacy has left a great mark on the impartial coverage of the Artsakh issue," Pashinyan tweeted.
Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan also took Twitter to express his condolences.
"Deeply saddened about the passing of celebrated Czech journalist and lawyer Dana Mazalová. She leaves behind huge legacy of promoting truth and justice in impartial and professional coverage of Nagorno Karabakh conflict," the tweet by Mnatsakanyan read.
To note, Mazalova visited Armenia for the first time in 1982. She covered the Karabakh war in the 90s and filmed a documentary about the devastating Spitak earthquake in 1988.
