My Step MP Arsen Julfalakyan steps down
Lawmaker Arsen Julfalakyan from the ruling My Step alliance has announced his decision to resign.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Julfalakyan cited “fundamental disagreements with Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Arayik Harutyunyan over the current management approaches of the spheres under his jurisdiction” as the reason for his decision.
“I think that the adopted path is unpromising and will not ensure the solution and development of the existing issues in these spheres. Therefore, my further activity under such conditions will certainly not serve my mission as a member of parliament to effectively defend the interests of our state and citizens,” he wrote.
Julfalakyan thanked the parliament speaker, the structures and officials with whom he has worked during this period.
